Tonight Mommy and Daddy headed up to Culinary Communion to take in a Vagabond Dinner featuring cassoulet prepared by Chefs Gabriel Claycamp and Katie Coleman.
While they were getting their gnosh on, I was left in the good hands of one Miss Kelsey Lockhart. The surprise of the evening was that Kelsey’s boyfriend Mackenzie was joining us as he was in town visiting from Bellingham.
He is a sweet fellow and it was great to meet him. We all passed the time away playing family (Kelsey was Mom, Mackenzie was Dad and I was me) and Guitar Hero. I shred Ted and that’s all you need to know.
I hear the Vagabond Dinner was fantastic with a roasted pumpkin salad that was out of this world followed by a rich cassoulet with lamb confit, duck confit and some of Chef Gabriel’s own pancetta. Yee-um!
