Since mom is riding in an MS charity bike ride this weekend, it was just the Dad and I that headed out to the expansive Marymoor Park in Redmond, WA to take in the Michael Franti and Spearhead concert in the fine company of Lynn Burgess with Owen, J.P. and Joe Moriarty tonight. Also there were Dan Caine and John Burgess from Incite Partners and consultant Sadee Whip.
I’ve been to a few Zoo Tunes shows over the years, but I was not quite ready for all the unkempt breasts, rabid twirling and a thick green haze that seemed to hover over the crowd like the Asian Brown Cloud. Another surprise was running into Debbie Reber and Derin Basden, parents to uber-cutie and pal Asher Basden. They were Asher-less this evening and having a ball.
Thanks to Lynnie B. for putting the night together and to Joey M. for ferrying us out to Marymoor in the mighty Suburban. Super Fun!
