This weekend Mommy, Daddy and I joined Papa Jack and Nana for a trip to visit the new vacation home of the Trautwein’s: Auntie Sue, Uncle Tom and my cousin Jordan.
The home is located high atop a hill in the Port Angeles area of the Olympic Peninsula and looks across the Strait of Juan de Fuca at Victoria, BC. At only four years old, the house is laden with great amenities and modern design flourishes while still maintaining a cabin-like feel.
They have plans to relocate the existing detached garage to make way for a new guest quarters that will no doubt be filled up with Tom and Sue’s children and grandchildren many times over the coming years.
Jordan and I had a great time playing together and I know Daddy thinks it’s pretty cool to see the genesis of the “Little House in the Woods” era. The Beelzecchi 3 all look forward to spending more time there.
