Today we finally left the house and it feels good to get some fresh air! Daddy is going to have to miss work tomorrow to visit Grammy Sam, so he’s hunkered down at IQ Beats trying to get a project finished that has a harsh deadline.

Mommy dropped me off with Daddy for a couple hours since she needed to get her nails and brows done, shop at Trader Joe’s and go for a run. Daddy took a quick time out to put me in the vocal booth and lemme do my thing.

In addition to feeling crummy and holding my parents hostage at the house, this weekend has been a huge bummer because my Great-Aunt Sue, Great-Uncle Tom and 2nd cousin Jordan are in town to hang out with Papa Jack and Cynthia and see us.

The plan was to go to the zoo yesterday and have dinner together tonight, but my fever put a wrench in all of that.  I hope that I’m all good to go visit them at their new Olympic Peninsula digs as planned next weekend. In the meantime, I had this to say to my dear cousin:
