Today Mommy had the day off because she’ll be working all weekend and decided to keep me home from school so that she and I could have some bonding and fun time.
We were off to a great start by sleeping in an extra hour and taking it much easier than our usual frenetic weekday pace. Mommy had waffles and I had jungle pancakes before hitting the road for a flurry of errands. Poor Daddy… While I was having jungle pancakes he was already deep into a long day of jingle pancakes. The upside for him is that today is his Friday for 2007.
After a circuit of mundane stops, Mommy and I headed to Pro Nails on top of Queen Anne to get manicures and pedicures complete with polish. She picked out a pretty color and I was in hog heaven while getting filed, buffed, polished and pampered. She was beside herself and loving every minute of her little girl getting her first mani/pedi. I’m not ready for a Brazilian quite yet though.
